Who is a candidate?

Anyone with healthy eyes in need of vision correction should consider orthoK as an option. Addiitionally, parents concerned about developing nearsightedness, (myopia,) in their children should definitely consider orthokeratology,

How does orthoK work?

Special retainer contact lenses are designed using eye print imaging of the cornea, something like a fingerprint for the eye. Worn only during sleep, the vision retainers gently and safely reshape the cornea into a corrected shape. This eliminates the need for glasses or contacts during waking hours.
